Some of you have been watching me, maybe, long enough to remember the first time I drew this.

It was Puzzle's first appearance in my artwork! I made this piece when I first started to like Matt. I just, I don't know what to say. I've wanted to redo this piece for months now, and finally got down to it.

So many things naturally changed for me when redoing this piece. I automatically wanted Topaz and Puzzle's faces closer, their smiles more genuine, their bodies tucked in closer to one another. I wanted to fix colors and paint everything by hand; the water gave me trouble, but the rock and shading did not.

It's just so weird to see so much improvement, and yet so little has changed.

Man, my style really has become more chibi. The lines got thicker, eyes got bigger, limbs got more compact and less...obnoxiously space-filling XD

I gotta say, I like where it's going! c:

Matt, I love you very, very much. You are the best thing to ever happen to me, and I know that sometimes I can be bad at expressing things, but like, wow, I can't even comprehend how much I love you. It's been the best 16 months (and 1 day) of my life, I mean it truly. You make me who I am and have helped shape who I'll become. You're my biggest supporter and cheer me on in everything I do...I couldn't do anything without you. I can't really say it in any other way...I love you
