heh, Shugenja, technically - but Shugendo is often practiced using techniques similar to Onmyodo. (Onmyoji in this setting he's from are basically the ones who call shikigami)

isn't Shugenja what Onmyodo "evolved" from so to speak? :)

That's exactly the point - they sorta grew apart from one another in this setting too, so the onmyoji act out the summoning and divining, rather than using all the elements. Though there isn't anything stopping them from doing so. :P
