These have been in my mind for a LONG time, and I just thought I would doodle something to show my ideas and see if anyone would be interested.

I've always been a much more hands-on crafty sort of person, and when I learned to crochet one of my first thoughts was that I could learn to make custom plush dolls of characters. Now I've got more experience and I've found a pattern that I think will work nicely for the "Gingerbread" type doll so I wanted to get some ideas out, and using my Kaida as an example design.

For the "Gingerbread" dolls, the body, head, and limbs would be one piece, and sort of flat-ish when stuffed. Ears, tails, horns, and any extras would also be crocheted and sewn on (though at the moment I do not have a pattern for wings yet, I'm working on that). It's a possibility that I could make tails poseable, and I can definitely make yarn tail fluffy tails for them. Hair can be left as yarn strands or brushed out to be fluffy.

Eyes would be black "safety eyes", or could be colored eyes with pupils on request.

Ears can be left floppy, or I have an idea to stiffen them just slightly with a piece of craft foam inside.
Muzzles would likely be a flat round piece of felt, as well as markings that couldn't be crocheted into the pattern, like the black triangle shaped marking coming up between Kaida's eyes. Small markings like the white stripes on Kaida's face would likely be painted (markings like the white stripes on her body would maaaybe be painted, since they might just be too thin to cut from felt correctly. I need to experiment with this.)

Big markings like Kaida's hands and feet, ear tips, and tail stripes could be crocheted into the pattern of the doll.

These would be stuffed with poly-fill or could maybe be partially bean bag pellets in the body. Bean bags would probably cost extra though.

I would REALLY love to make these dolls, I might consider making one or two for someone if they'd be willing to cover just the cost of materials I would need, since I may not have the color of yarn needed, don't have eyes, etc. For now I'm just wanting to see if anyone would be interested and rambling out my ideas XP
