This paint is part of a traditional Minotaur festival that takes place every few years where many Minotaurs who want to take part in the festivities journey back to their homelands. The males who want to take part in certain sports apply traditional war paint and compete in such things as wresting and (safe) arena combat for prizes and honor in the festival.
