And now i present you a snapshot of a beautiful but violent spectacle, that sometimes can be observed at the coasts of Maraskan. Two resident Species, the pearl dragon and the red maran are sworn enemies as long as anyone can remember. Some may think it's because they're both fishing predators, but they are rarely seen fighting over fish. It just seems they are hating each other for no apparent reason.
Obvously due to the much stronger build and sharp claws the pearl dragon wins most of the fights, but the inhabitants of Maraskan are saying that one time per hundred years, a red maran wins. Other rumors from the island are telling that the 'war' between these two species is fought because the King of the red marans, a very arrogant individual, insulted a mighty pearl dragon and/or that this pearl dragon wounded the red maran king's pride. You could say it's like a vendetta or something.
