Completed in 2012. He's only a few inches long.

"I've had this project going for a few years now. I bought a pack of buttons to use as eyes for plushies, and in the bag were two giant red-orange buttons. I immediately decided that I needed to use them on a very, very tiny plush. It took me far too long to complete because I kept losing one (or both) of the eyes, forgetting about it, etc. But this weekend, I found the eyes (and was tired of them sitting on my cabinet) and resolved to finish the project once and for all. Out of all the plushies I've made over the years, this is only the second I've kept for myself. All the others were gifts.

He was also originally supposed to be a fish, but as I worked, he began to look more like a shark. I'm quite happy with this change."
