I wanted to wait until after ConFuzzled to post this. Here's the Art I did for our door sign.
It was a rush job, really. I finally got around to working on it the Monday before ConFuzzled began and then I had 3 days to finish it. We don't have a printer at home so I had to get it done in time for Caine to print it out at work. I got it done in time. But Caine's original color scheme didn't print well at all. He wound up being an all black wolf with red eyes and fur patterns. So we had to come up with a different set of colors for him. I came up with 7 different versions and Caine chose the one you see here.
He plans on getting his reference sheet updated. Now more-so than ever. During ConFuzzled, we found 4 fursuits whose color schemes and fur patterns were extremely similar to Caine's original scheme. I'd warned him about this when we met. But he was stubborn about it. He learned the hard way, though.
As for the background: I wanted to go with the country colors thing. BoKo's home country is Ireland. Her flag colors are Green, White, and Orange. Caine's home country is Cote d'Ivoire (West Africa) and his flag colors are the reverse of BoKo's. When I found that out, I HAD to use it. XD
In the end, I like how it came out. I'm probably going to use it again for our door sign at EuroFurence (since it's the last Furry Convention we'll be attending for a while as well as overseas period). If we do wind up attending one in the States next year, I'll come up with something different.
