It certainly is one of my most favorite landscape photos that I have taken. I especially like the many parallel lines running slightly diagonally that guide my eye to the butte itself then the trail of rock and valley that takes it back to the blue-masked cliff walls.

I love this photo. From a painter's standpoint, it's a perfect illustration of values drawing the eye, solid composition and atmospheric interference with the blue shadows in the distance.
