A rough ref for Antares that I’ve been meaning to do for forever, as I have some trouble drawing them consistently.

Antares is essentially what happens when a star (or star system, or some other large collection of stars and matter) becomes self-aware, and wants to explore the universe beyond its own being. So the star (or whatever) pinches off a bit of matter and energy, and uses that rudimentary body to interact with the universe... and whatever lifeforms that might be in it.

Antares has recently awakened, and wants to explore and interact with the galaxy as peaceably as possible. They’re generally calm and gentle, and tends to be drawn to more urban areas -the better to interact with as many different people as possible.
