For over 5 years a friend and I have had an ongoing RP based on original characters and setting. These are my main characters in that RP.
Toran (male) and Erissa (female) are snow leopard demons. This pic shows them while they were slaves for the dictator Felix Delgado, hence the slave collars. The collars are magic and give Delgado control over the demons and prevent them from being able to kill him. Delgado is human but one of Toran and Erissa's enemies gave him power as a way to humiliate and punish them.
Toran and Erissa are twin brother and sister.
I'm currently in the process of writing the novel of the RP they are in. Turning an RP into a novel is very difficult because the two things aren't quite the same. But it will be written and my friend is a co-author.

They're being punished for being good. They're demons so doing good things is actually bad. They've also been inflicted with a disease called compassion which makes them feel guilty for doing bad things and want to do good things like help people. The only way to cure compassion is to do evil. So while Delgado gets use powerful demons as his special agents he's also doing the work of Toran and Erissa's enemy by trying to cure their compassion. I really need to get going on writing the novel. I put it on hold for a while to work on other things. And yes they eventually do get their freedom back and their revenge. But that's really just the beginning. There's about 3 or 4 arcs in the story that my friend and I have RPed over the course of like 5 years or something. We started over at least once though.
