Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved, admired and adored Disney's "The Little Mermaid" :)

I left this one unfinished for some time before I decided to go back and finish it. I love mermaids and used to pretend I was a mermaid whenever I'd be bathing (One time when I was little, I made a mermaid tail out of paper and took it in the bath!!) and when I was in the swimming pool and it was this movie that influenced me ^^.

Now as an adult I love the mythology behind mermaids and their curiosity for the human world, mistaking bath-plugs for necklaces and...well, forks for hairbrushes! It's adorably innocent.

I wanted to show my appreciation for both Mermaids and the film by drawing my fursona in the style from the movie. Jezz is quite a curious creature to say the least.
I think she looks quite at home there, under the sea ^^
