A day in Darken's life usually started at the first moments of dawn, with all the members of his pride having a hearty breakfast.
After the sun illuminated the sky with its rays, the pride split up in three groups for the remainder of the morning.
Even though all the girls wanted to stay around Darken, he generally chose the ones that would have the privilege to accompany him.
The nursing and soon-to-be mothers stayed at home to babysit the cubs.
Another small group of females went hunting for lunch, depending on the amount of food they had left from the day before.
Everyone else followed the black panther to a beautiful place just a few hundred feet away: A turquoise lagoon of clear and fresh waters and surrounded by big leafy trees.
A small waterfall made it the perfect background to refresh themselves during the hotter hours of the day.
The secluded lake was a perfect place to enjoy his favorite activity. All the girls teased the male panther, to keep him interested and ready for what they expected. And for several hours, the fun was guaranteed in that lake.
At least, until it was time for lunch.
