The ceremony started and the valedictorian and many others gave their speeches. Names were called for the students to receive their diplomas from the superintendent. "And here's your diploma, Jasper Moore." The man said, handing him the paper and shaking his hand. "Thank you, Mr. Superintendent." Jasper said, forcing a smile As he walked off stage, he stopped and looked out to the crowd.
