"Well, this morning I got in a fight with my dad again. Then I told my step mother that her idiot daughter is pregnant. I'm surprised they haven't noticed." Jasper said, beginning to walk away. "Oh Geez.." Holden sighed in disbelief and began to follow him as he continued his story. "And do you honestly think my old man cares enough to be here? No." He growled, blowing out a large cloud of smoke. "But, it's your graduation day. Don't you think he cares, even a little bit?" Holden said, desperately trying to cheer his friend up. "Hm, let me think about that.. Nope." He knew better. He knew that his dad was still at home with Abby, who was probably devastated over her perfect daughter being pregnant, and he was probably tending to her every whim, trying to please her. Jasper knew they didn't care.
