I've been listening to this song a lot lately. This is a cover of Don't Think Twice by Hikaru Utada, from KH3 (which I've never played btw). It's much better than the original, and with a male voice it's much more fitting.

I'm tired of looking at other yaoi artists and going "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" I've just got to find out by pose theft, I guess.

I have to confess, there's something about yaoi fandom that still makes me uncomfortable. The fact that it's mostly by women, for women. It's a bit like the idea of the male gaze, all of those female eyes leering at me. Something that is supposed to be private is instead exposed.

I don't want to complain about it though. It's not a major problem, because naturally I get the appeal of drawing it. Same goes for straight men drawing naked women. There's no solving the problem, we all have a gaze of some kind or another. Rather than railing against it, I choose to make of it what I want it to be. A poor craftsman always blames his tools.

I'm really glad I didn't make him skinny. Or fat. Got it just right.
