Learning About Alchemy

"As I stated last week when the semester started, there is nothing wrong with dropping this class."

A naked white rabbit stood in front of a large number of others, every eye in the room locked onto his lithe form. He casually removed his glasses before turning away from his students, his teardrop tail giving a flick as he clicked a button on the underside of the chalk board. Slowly a projector screen began to descend from the top of the board, hiding the formulas that had been written there earlier in the week along with a name, Professor Steven Dominic Zander the III. The rabbit turned about on his heels in time to catch a glimpse of an otter's tail as it left through the class' side door. This caused Steven to chuckle and put his glasses back on, the grin on his face showing just how amused he was.

"Anyone else?"

He waited for a few moments and watched a couple of students in the back of the class gather up their belongings and leave as well. That left about forty students in the sizeable room, still way more than the rabbit had expected to stay. Then again, he'd weeded out the slackers and those unwilling to put in the work those first few days, his class of 100 easily being cut in half.

"Alright, now that things have settled, let me remind you all that this class is called Alchemy: Past and Future. We will be exploring the art of chemistry and medicine along with the foundations of alchemy's past and its progression into the future. For the past week or so I've been basically prattling on and assigning homework just to get the class down to a more manageable size of hardworking students and those wishing to actually learn more about the subject. With that in mind, who can tell me the very basics of alchemy that we discussed last week?"

The slender hand of a female possum shot up in the front row and before she could be acknowledged she began to speak, "The initial alchemists wanted many things, such as turning simple metals into gold!"

Steven nodded and smiled toward the student, "True enough Cindy, but it goes deeper than that. The first alchemists wanted to make parts of the world perfect, correct certain aspects of life. So yes, in the most standard way of thinking they wanted to turn metal into gold. In the greater outlook they wanted to extend their own lives and perhaps, one day, achieve immortality."

Steven paused for a second to gaze toward the back of the class, his ears having caught the sound of a snort of something to that nature. Upon seeing nothing out of the ordinary, his attention turned back toward the class as a whole.

"In today's world, alchemy is used in terms of potions and medicines. The company I've worked the longest for is able to correct little flaws that people see about themselves. We make potions and pills that can change the size or species of someone, both in the short and long term. Slowly, we're working toward perfecting even other things in life and--"

The rabbit paused again when his ears caught the sound of that snort, but this time he saw where it had originated from. In the back row of the class sat a hyenolf, a hybrid male student with a light blue colored Mohawk. He'd noticed him the first day of class, having thought he'd be one of those that left in the first week. He'd misjudged him though as he'd been turning in his classwork for the past week, including a wonderful piece about why he wished to learn more about the subject. Sadly though, here he was in class after that first week, nodding off.

"Kai...is there something wrong?" Steven smirked as every head in the room turned to gaze at the hyenolf, who suddenly looked a lot more awake. "I'm not boring you, am I?"

"No sir..." Kai mumbled and shook his head, but then yawned just as wide as he could, unable to stop himself. A giggle ran through the entire class as Kai snapped his jaws shut and then looked down at his desk, "Sorry Prof...had a late night."

"Well, if you're entirely interested in this class, perhaps you'd like to help me with a demonstration before we dive into a short film and our first lesson plan?"

Kai just nodded in agreement before standing and marching slowly to the front of the room. A few whispers caught the hybrid's ears as he wandered by some students, but he wasn't concerned with what they were saying. His main concern was having falling asleep in class and whatever the Steven was going to have him do. He hoped for some simple question that he could easily answer and then sit back down. Anything physical was going to be nearly impossible due to how worn out and tired Kai felt. Still, he did his best to not be embarrassed about the situation and just stood in front of his professor's desk while the rabbit stood nearby.

"Sit..." Steven knocked on his desk and then circled around behind it and began to dig through one of his draws while Kai planted his butt down. "Our first lesson will touch base in the past, but before we really get started I wanted to show you part of the future, to keep you interested in attending class and learning!"

Steven carefully tugged on the back of Kai's colored mane, forcing his head backward and exciting a gentle yelp out of him. That noise was soon turned into gargling when a red liquid was dumped into that parted muzzle, Kai having no other option but to snap his jaws shut and swallow hard, a small lump traveling down his throat as the rest of the class watched, a murmur of snickering coming from each section of the room.

"Hey, what's the big idea?" The hyenolf careened his neck to stare at his teacher, who just offered him something else, a pink colored liquid in a small vial.

"You'll probably want to drink this too..."

Kai grumbled a little, but accepted the vial and dumped the contents into his mouth, swallowing that down as well. He sighed and then slurped over his lips, his mouth tingling with the taste of cherry and bubblegum. The hybrid's attention turned to the front of the class when he heard an excitable gasp come from the possum girl in the front row, her eyes open wide and almost shimmering, as if she'd suddenly seen the coolest thing in the world! Kai then began to notice that every other person in the room had that same look. Those in the back were even starting to stand and gaze at him, a blush starting to trickle over Kai's face at all of the attention.

"Alright...what's everyone staring at--holy sh--!"

"As I stated before, today Alchemy can be used in a variety of ways," Steven interrupted the hyenolf's sudden swear while stepping back out from around his desk and looking over the now shrinking male on his desk. "The red potion was created in my lab ages ago and now used by people to grow to different sizes, mostly for medical reasons."

Kai wormed about on the desk, huffing and blushing a lot brighter now! His shirt was now oversized and slipping down over his shoulders, which was fine by him as his jeans had already slipped from around his waist and ended up on the floor. At almost a foot tall, things began to get a little disorienting and Kai could barely hear what Steven was talking about to the class! Occasionally he'd point to the dwindling male and say something to the class, but it was hard to pay attention when sounds became much louder. Soon though, Kai gasped when he was no longer able to see the class, his shirt becoming too big for him to even hold onto properly! The now five inch male squirmed atop that desk and under his clothing, his own scent being almost overpowering at such a small size! He gasped again only when he felt something grab at his legs and tug him out into the light of the classroom.

"So as I've explained, this would be one of the end products or sizes in this case!"

Kai groaned a little as he tried to move, but found his arms hanging above his head as he was dangled upside down by his feet in front of his teacher's muzzle. The rabbit's words had been loud, but unmistakably clear now that the shrinking process had stopped. The entire world seemed new and different at such a small size. Kai felt the rabbit's warm breath on his back and then suddenly on his front when he was turned from the staring at his classmates to staring at his teacher's face.

"I like fun and creative punishments that I've been approved to conduct by the school's Board of Directors. So from this moment on, if you're in my class you'll pay close attention, pass in all your assignments on time or face consequences of losing out on almost an entire day."

The class was just fixated on the tiny hyenolf in their professor's hand. Kai just blushed deeply at the words that were spoken, finally realizing that he was providing the example for the rest of the class. Still, being small didn't seem like such a bad punishment and wondered just how the rabbit thought it'd make someone lose out on a day of their life.

That's when Kai saw Steven's muzzle part. The tiny hyenolf just stared at those red and pink innards as the tongue extended forward like some sort of sloppy carpet. A dollop of drool dropped from behind those buck teeth and landed on that quivering tongue below! Kai struggled about as best he could as he was moved closer to that muzzle, a strong coffee scent being blasted over his small, naked form. Before Kai could find his words he felt Steven's tongue curl around his head and then around the rest of his body, that slick appendage bathing him in a quick coating of saliva before he was raised upward.

Globs of drool rained down from Kai's soaked upper half, the hyenolf trying to sputter out a plea to his professor, but the only thing that escaped from his mouth was a weak whine as he watched Steven's head tilt back and his jaws gape just as wide as they could. From above Kai saw a pool of saliva building in the back of the rabbit's jaws, then stared in disbelief when that gullet twitched open and then shut. The strong sound of that swallowed reached Kai's ears and caused the small male to swat his paws helplessly at the air ahead of him as he was slowly lowered down to that slimy pink pit.

"Prof...! Swear I won't doze off again...!"

Kai managed to get those words out before he was dropped, his yell reaching the ears of the students in the first few rows. His body landed with a splat against the rabbit's tongue and he immediately slid toward and crashed into that esophagus! His hands became wedged in that tight tube of flesh, his palms feeling each and every tug that throat made. Kai swore aloud and struggled about, just hoping that the rabbit didn't suddenly swallow! Luck was on the hyenolf's side it seemed as Steven just snapped his jaws shut and lowered his head, giving Kai enough time to pull his arms from that gullet and crawl backward along that tongue, even as it curled along his back, the tip more of that scented drool along the side of his already sticky muzzle.

For the second time in the past few minutes, Kai was blinded by sudden light, this time by Steven's jaws parting again. Everyone in the class was still staring, this time directly at him as he fought against the tongue and attempted to leap forward and out of those jaws. Steven's tongue was much faster it seemed and just knocked the little hyenolf onto his ass and then tried to press him into that gullet, which opened wide to accept the morsel. Kai felt a strong heat rise up along his back and into the muzzle, his eyes watering at the heavy smell of coffee that now seeped into his nose! Before he could be swallowed, Kai fought forward, getting onto his knees and then springing forward again as his toes pressed against the back of the rabbit's tongue.

That appendage kept up with him though and curled tightly about his stomach and chest, keeping him from getting very far in his escape! Steven's lips also helped, that mouth having sealed shut around Kai's shoulders. The hyenolf was now stuck both in and out of those humid jaws, though only one of his hands had managed to gain freedom, which hindered and nearly prevented his escape! Kai stared at the students in the front row and seemingly reached out with his one hand in a way that said, "Help me!" but nobody seemed to get out of their seat! The hope Kai had quickly faltered, especially when he felt a heavy suction work over his crotch and legs. He couldn't help but whine and grind himself down into the tongue encompassing him, his entire body slowly being worked back between those lips by that suckling! Kai's shoulders slipped out of sight, followed by his head! His one free arm tried to grip at that bottom lip, but all Steven had to do to break that hold was tilt his head back some and end Kai with one powerful swallow.

Kai's entire body surged inward with that gulp, a wave of drool carrying him right into that guttural passage. It shut up tight right after his fingers cleared the back of that tongue, his small form wriggling hard in the tight tube that now massaged and guided him downward. It was a very slow descent, Steven's one gulp having only captured him in that throat. The rabbit was now showing the bulge in his neck off to the class and giving it a gentle rub with his fingers every now and again. Kai was the one making himself sink deeper in that esophagus. Every bit of movement he made showed up visibly under Steven's white fur, the professor not even having to do anything as Kai doomed himself to being dragged deeper. By the time Kai realized what he'd been doing, he didn't have much time to freeze in place! Five seconds after he stopped moving, Steven swallowed again! The rabbit's heartbeat barley masked the sound of that hard gulp, Kai groaning softly in that throat before shutting his eyes and holding his breath. A wave of drool crashed into the shrunken hyenolf and drove him straight into that stomach. Kai went through a tight ring of flesh with all that drool and landed with a splash in that stomach. He surfaced above all that coffee in that stomach with a gasp and then just stared upward as his body bobbed uselessly about in that lukewarm liquid.

"Professor...is he...going to be alright?"

Steven took another few swigs of his coffee, clearing the taste of Kai from his mouth before grinning toward the entire class, "I guess we'll see in ten hours?"

A look of shock came over every students face! Had their teacher really doomed a student to being digested just because he was falling asleep?! It almost seemed that way, until Steven began to laugh, the horrified expressions on everyone's face turning to mild confusion.

"I'm just playing around. He'll be fine." The rabbit plucked one of the vials from his desk and showed it to the class, a bit of pink liquid sticking to the sides of the glass. "Remember, I said earlier the alchemists of the past wanted to work toward potential immortality. We are part of the way there..."

The entire class stood up and began to clap, the thunderous applause from forty people echoing out into the hallway. Steven balled up his first and belched softly into it and then cleared his throat before taking another sip of coffee, washing down the hefty taste of hyenolf that had come up with that belch.

"If we have the power to protect someone from dying due to stomach acids or the lack of air, think of what the future holds! Though like I stated before, we'll start with a film explaining about the past."

As Steven went to dim the lights of the classroom, Kai was being grumpy in the dark, sloppy rabbit gut. Even from underneath all that fur and flesh he'd heard his professor's words. While being swallowed had shocked him, he was now in for a rather weird journey through his teacher's body. As interesting as that was, Kai just pressed himself against part of the rabbit's gut and shut his eyes. If nothing bad was going to happen to him, he could at least finish the nap he'd wanted to take.
