You asked for critique, so, I like it mostly but for some reason it seems to not be quite right. The style and feel is almost medieval/Renaissance but seems just off a bit. I think it looks like a semi finished sketch from that time period but is just off somehow. As a Medievalist, I have looked at and studied tons of medieval and renaissance art and I guess something about this seems between steps, like a preliminary painting that was started but not refined. Not sure I am explaining this well enough.

  Thank you kindly for the critique, I really appreciate it! I didn't mean to copy a medieval style of drawing/painting, though. I just drew some 16'th Century Poland inspired costumes in my style! I need to try that, though, I really love the way medieval art looks like. It's just a sketch, so it feels unfinished - even for me!

    You could use it as a prelim and do a painting in a medieval style based on this sketch. I think it would look cool. I would say look at 1500-1600 style work.
