A piece of gift art for Burnide Bran Skyclaw, Truthweaver of Seren! He likes birds, so... yeah.

This is my first piece completed using Paint Tool Sai. It took a stupidly long time, mostly because I was fascinated with all of Sai's nifty little features and had to experiment with them all.

Thanks go out to Leonoy for her very helpful shading tutorial and to Ifus for her very helpful background tutorial. Typically, I am much too lazy to do backgrounds, but the tutorial enlightened me to the reasonable, proper way. I could still use practice, but still, there's a background there. Also, thanks to Mr. Foxamoore for his beautiful music, especially "Flow," which kept me company during the journey.

All in all, I'm fairly pleased with this. My favourite parts are Burnide's wing feathers, his eyes, and the shading on his body.
