Longer info about the species:

Medcats are a “companion” model of Leonids (Leonids being a brand of robot catlike creatures). Most medcats are kept as a medical or therapeutic aide or as a luxury pet, though some are used as proper doctors, and “corrupted” or glitchy medcats are often run through tests to see what causes glitches in Medcats and how to fix it.

They are capable of speech and they can use a storage unit in their chest as a first aide kit (though luxury medcats usually keep theirs empty, as they have no need to have heavy things rattling around in them).

Most medcats are programmed to be incredibly polite, though there are some exceptions where a medcat would be programmed to be more casual. Glitches do not typically alter the Medcat’s personality, but may cause it to act out dangerously.

First row, medical companions:
Canon info for roleplayers and those who want to stick to canon when making art with these: These medcats were designed specifically to act as nurses, aides, or therapy pets. They are very gentle and kind.

Second row, customs and luxury pets:
Canon info for roleplayers and those who want to stick to canon when making art with these: These medcats were designed specifically for their companion (this does not mean they are reserved but it does mean that if you pair up your medcat character with a character of your own, they should match, or your character should have inherited it or gotten it as a gift!), and they typically do not carry first aid necessities unless specifically asked to. These are pets rather than aides, and while they are still capable of being helpful companions, they are programmed to be much more relaxed than aide medcats, sometimes making them appear lazy!

Third row, “corrupted” medcats:
Canon info for roleplayers and those who want to stick to canon when making art with these: THESE MEDCATS ARE NOT COMPANIONS OR PETS! They are solely given out to researchers to test. They are often very dangerous, and while they may have the same personality as a pet or an aide, they have a chance of becoming violent or malfunctioning dangerously! There may be other issues that make them dangerous as well. Handle with caution! (This doesn’t mean they can’t be adopted, just try not to make these ones act like normal medcats without telling me what your reason is first, please. (: )
