One of the four large paintings I did for Painting I in the Fall 2009 semester.

This one is 24"x24" oil on cotton canvas, 1.5" deep.
Hours: 20-24 approx

This was one of two abstracts we had to do over the course of the class. For this project we provided the photo we would be working from, I chose a photo of my raccoon skull I had taken back in 2008.

I think the result is very nice and I did enjoy working on this image in the end.
