One of two entries for Vera’s current SLIME contest.
I really have been a fan of KittyMonster since she submitted an image of him. He is just so wonderfully whimsical and cutely creepy.
I think I failed at the slime in this image but I did try… and along with trying I made the slime sticky and staining, thus the blue randomly around his body.
He was done on colored Canson paper (the violet), thus I chose to let it participate as his shadow rather than trying to cover it up. It helps make the image more whimsical and fun to me.
I think for now I will use this as an example of my colored pencil illustrations.

BTW mushrooms are fun to draw owo

5 hours of work at school in between classes and the slaying of a white Prismacolor pencil. It wasn’t a brand new one, but it was about 1/5 used and now is an almost unusable nub.
