I don't get around to drawing gift art quite as much as I would like, but in the early hours of the morning I decided to draw Azur's (http://furaffinity.net/user/azur ) character, Blue.

All together, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out...still definitely digging the freedom of the single-layered approach for sure, it's far less cumbersome to make critical changes, and quite frankly more fun. The background is matte painted from a still of a Tokyo sidestreet...I wanted the late night city feel, but wasn't compelled to spend 8hrs to paint it by hand, so hopefully it's a decently blended compromise! ...And I have no explanation for why he's not wearing a shirt in the middle of the street at 4am XD
