Donatella!

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the romanticization of the fashion industry (a la The Devil Wears Prada <3), so when I rediscovered Lady Gaga's ARTPOP album, specifically (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PR2aLrPE9Q#t=19 ), I was compelled to draw an interpretation to go along with it.

Which proved to be a perfect opportunity to draw Zahra (serval) in her tall lanky elegance, as I don't think I've posted anything of her before. However, contrary to the accompanying song, Zahra is not actually wearing Versace. Instead, she is meant to be clad in a Zahair Murad gown (from the 2007 spring/summer collection) as the model's pose (heavy referenced as I cannot design evening gowns) aligned more with my original vision of her character's attitude and opulence.

And apart from being an excuse to draw someone with more class, I definitely do not draw nearly enough female characters, so I felt the need to switch it up! (Do I still have straight watchers?? hehe jk!)

Anyways, hope you all like her...despite being a cranky model, she's not so bad! XD
