I never thought I'd be able to complete an entire piece on a single layer, but I gave it a serious shot and I don't think it turned out too shabby. It was completely different from my usual methods, so it was definitely a challenge, but I think I may be headed in the direction in the future as it was far more freeing to work on very few layers instead of dozens.
So I decided to use Tahari as a guinea pig this time around since I've not had a chance to draw him in a while either. And naturally, being the cheeky and unabashed leopard he is, of course he usually takes off for his morning surf session in the buff. But for the sake of the audience, he should probably manage his wardrobe more appropriately...so he's covered up here, but perhaps a slightly less covered version is on FA :P

It was a good bit of fun to give it a go as one layer, definitely had to rethink my process a good bit, but when it came to fixing things (which would usually call for a multi-layer adjustment)...it was far more simplistic even with the 'repair' afterwards.

I'd be truly surprised if he turned down the offer, though I would also half expect him to use it as an excuse to 'accidentally' drop his towel anyways. :P

Wow, all on one layer is intense... but the background is just beautiful, in addition to your always lovely characters. Someone's pretty confident here! Gotta say I'm a sucker for this body type.. just enough to look good and have the hip lines, but not too extreme with full abs and such (which admittedly might kinda be how it is IRL.. those abs are impossible lmao).

It was odd having to draw the background 'around' Tahari since I drew him first, but I'm glad you think it came out well. Thank you for the kind words :3
And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a sucker for his build either, not too huge a fan of mega abs myself, ....lean and toned all day long!
And of course, he's a devious one, not an ounce of embarrassment in his body, I'm sure he'll be back in another 'less than innocent' shot soon enough XD
