In the dungeons of Mylk, many mysterious treasures lay waiting for adventurers to claim them. In those dungeons are of course monsters and creatures that would stand in their way, and non are more notorious as the toybox mimic. This breed of mimic unique to mylk will often take the form of a large toy chest, which to any resident of mylk can drive one to excitement. Once in range, the mimic will use it's large eye to send out a paralyzing gaze to stun their prey, before wrapping them up in their plush tongue and devour them whole. Once consumed, the victim is transmogrified into a small inanimate plush version of themselves and spat back out, to help the mimic entice future meals to approach them, along with any equipment they may have been carrying. The victims remain aware of their surroundings in this state, and a simple restoration spell can restore them to their true form... that is if their would be rescuers decide to turn them back or not...
