After her ascension to Queen of Prettia, Roseline would become one of the rare few among Prettia's rulers to give birth to an heir rather then pick one among her court. Rell would have a very different upbringing then most Giff. Instead of learn to shoot a fire arm, he learned how to pour tea. Instead of learning how to mix gun powder, he learned how to bake. Instead of wearing a military uniform, he wore petty coats. For most of his life, he was learning how to succeed his mother as the Queen. It wouldn't be until he was older he would find some of his mothers old things from her mercenary days and about his people heritage as gruff and tough warriors, and he realized he had been denied this. He would secretly begin to study the books and journals his mother wrote before arriving in Mylk, and eventually became de satisfied with his life in Prettia. He would decide to slip away, and would find his way to Rowdya, where he felt he could learn to get in touch with his inner Giff. He would eventually meet the King of the Blue, who sympathized with the hippo, and offered him some FOY water to let him have a "Do-over" It was shortly after this the King would fall ill and named Rell his successor. Armed with the military knowlege he had studied, he would rise to the challenge and lead the nation which had become his new home, doing his best to fend off his mother's attempts to bring him back home...
