So in the world of Tale of Misfits, Inktail has a spell called Enlarge/Reduce which is commonly used to either empower allies or weaken enemies. When using it on others, the spell seems to have no unusual effects, but when he uses it on himself, specifically the "Enlarge"effect it causes a transformation in him. He becomes more feral and bestial in nature. He loses his reasoning and instead is focused on beating the stuffing out of whoever or whatever had the gall to set him off. He also is very protective of Flower in this state and will lash out at anyone who tries to hurt her. The biggest change is the increase in appetite that could give Xazil a run for his money. The effect were off when the spell does, and to this date Inktail has no idea why this happens to him an no one else.
