In nature, one can find beauty and serenity, but there is always a hidden danger of ending up on the low end of the food chain. Eat or be eaten, that is the code that Cadlock expects his followers to a hear by. Cadlock represents the darker side of nature, and feels that one should embrace their inner hunter to survive. Those who don't have the will or strength to do are seen as weak in his eyes and not worthy of his favor. As the patron of the Pride of Feictear, his faithful strive to prove their strength by competing with one another in hunts, sparing matches, feats of strength, and base their ranking in the pride accordingly, with the strongest acting as his will among the tribe. He holds great jealousy towards his sister Yaara and her following in the great woods, as he sees her teachings as weak willed and foolish, and that such resources are more deserving for his faithful.
