Look who has just entered the world of Latchkey Kingdom! I recently started supporting Nick's patreon for his webcomic and got Inktail drawn as an adventurer who might appear as a background character in the comic at some point in the future. Naturally he had to be adjusted to fit the setting, and I decided to do a little background story...



Not long ago, there was a feline Yuman adventurer who decided to make there way into the lad of Vania. It was suppose to be a quick stop and rest up before heading back into the dungeons to try and make a little cash loot hunting... but he would suffer a small "accident". It was some point after this that his remains would fall into the hands of an Vanian scientist who specializes in the crafting of the strange fabric known as jelly-flesh. After some hard work, the scientist would craft a new body for the poor yuman, hoping to use them as a servant for their research... sadly when he didn't show signs of life at first, he was promptly considered a reject and tossed out with the garbage. it was this point he re-awoke in a strange new form, with little memory of what happened to him. Deciding to get as far away from Vania as possible before something else happened to him, he would arrive in Hilla, hoping to try and get a fresh start. Armed only with a large stick he found on his travels, and an ill fitting set of cloths he was forced to buy from a very insistent shop keep, the yuman turned living doll does his best to fit in despite his odd appearance. His name, Inktail
