So for those of you who don't know, I am a big fan of the Gundam series, specifically the plastic model kits commonly known as Gunpla. About 2 years ago I came across a model that was featured in a special manga and magazine, but never had an official kit made. I was so upset, until I learned some fans had made a resin garage kit for sale online. It took a lot of hunting (since the resin kits are now impossible to find) but I managed to get my hands on one. After getting the base kit needed, Gaia Gundam, and some paint, super glue, and a whole lot of free time, I was able to complete my first major custom build. I decided to give it a little extra personal touch by painting it in my sona's colors (I mean come on it's a cat what did you expect?) and even made a custom weapon for it. I call it the Yarn Ball Hammer. I could have done a lot of things different with this build, and my paint job is hardly perfect, but I think I am quite proud of this. Even 2 years later it still proudly sits in my room as the flag ship of my collection. Anyway, please enjoy the product of too much free time, and obsessive fandom.
