Shortly before the events of the Calamity befell Eorzea, when the invasion of the Garlean Empire was in full motion, the moogles of the Twelveswoods were plagued with fear of what the future held for their kind. They knew if the empire did not end up destroying their home should they be victorious, then this "Meteor" project adventures have been whispering about surely would. While many of them were scared if they would live to see tomorrow, one group of moogles had hope.

A group of young yet naive moogle adventurers who had found a mysterious melody, one that would supposedly give them what they needed to save all moogle kind form the fast approaching darkness that would befall Eorzea. Believing what they were doing was right, they began stealing and hording crystals, as many as their arms could carry and prepared for ceremony.

Many tried to warn them what they were doing was foolish but they had made up their minds, they would complete their mission. Although they had had noble intentions when they started, they would soon find out the hard way they were doing more harm then good. They would place the crystals in place, and began the melody as written. Soon enough their was a bright light. and they would be shocked to see before them the great king of moogle legend. Good King Moggle Mog XII.

While legend said he was a noble and kind lord to his people, he was now nothing more then a primal, and like the gods of the savage beast tribes, he too succumbed to the same lust for aeither and worship as them. He thank the ones who summoned him with a great honor, to be tempered and brought into this thrall.

In the end, the great Moogle King was defeated by the Warriors of Light and returned to lifestream, but his loyal Mog Gaurd would remain and continue to serve him.

Now 5 years have passed, and in the waking days of the 7th Umberal era, The Mooglesgaurd prepare to bring their lord back to this world, and shall bring swift judgement upon those who dare bring harm to him or his people.

Now then for those of you who don't play Final Fantasy XIV; A Realm Reborn, These Moogles are form a boss fight in game, though they don't actually look like this, this is my own interpretation of them. And yes each moogle has their own name. Here they are:


Whiskerwall Kupdi Koop - Light Blue Moogle - Paladin


Pukla Puki the Pomburner - Purple Moogle - Black Mage


Ruffletuft Kupta Kapa - Red Moogle - Warrior


Pukna Pako the Tailturner - Yellow Moogle - Theif


Puksi Piko the Shaggysong - Blue Moogle - Bard


Furryfoot Kupli Kipp - Grey Moogle - White Mage


Woolywart Kupqu Kogi - Green Moogle - Ranger


And of course the big regal fluff ball himself Good King Moogle Mog XII


Note I have not fought them myself yet but I am very excited about doing so.
