Delicately morbid and lugubrious. I adore it.
Your mere artistic skill and technique that manifested this piece onto reality is worthy of all commendations, but I would like to praise your meticulousness in its design as well:
First of all, the audacity of metaphors present here is sublime. Delicious, quite! Every little element presented is a symbol of death; Poppies with their blood-red petals, the raven, an oh so renowned messenger of death, arrows with quills tattered by the transience of time and the cranium which reflects the obvious (that it once found itself in the ownership of something living).
Exquisite, I say. Quite an enthralling reminder for all of us that death is everywhere and waiting, and she is patient, for she always gets what it wants eventually.
I also love the raven's expression. It is so cold, yet devilish. So focused too.

Wonderful job.
