Okay I don't normally express my opinions on character design but the recent redesign has sort of had my gears grinding. I'd like to say out of the entire cast Don and Matilda are my favorite. Don's design has been perfect but I've had to grind my teeth at Matilda.

To me Her hair was perfect, it was the right amount of bouncy and unique that gave this character kick. Plain red seems fitting for a punk kickboxer. I don't understand why she needs shades, her eyes really bring in this character for me. She seems like the type to stare down her advisary and intimidate with her eyes. The gloves are a nice touch of bad ass. I really enjoy the idea of her having thunderous thighs as she's a kickboxer. I'm also partial to bottom heavy designs, not to mention it's perfect for a kangaroo. Her wardrobe was something that I always had issues with, I really enjoy the new black tanktop rather than the little cloth she wore before but I still have issues with her jean pants and boots. Jean pants on women are extremely restrictive. hot, and annoying. I chose to give her shorts here because those are much better for movement plus it shows off her muscly thighs. Boots were a no go for me just because I don't understand why a kangaroo would need footwear. I removed her belt because it was flashy, too big, and in the way. I chose not to add her new tattoo/markings because her markings are unique enough and I think they're just in the way and over the top. I kept her tail ring because it give her a bit of character.

I really think Matilda had a lot of potential to be a great fighter and design but the reasons behind the changes and all really don't work well for me.
