I use Clip Studio Paint (EX, but if you're not into drawing long comics or animations, you can always settle for Pro, though if you want to use 3D models, then EX allows you to drag and drop them in and pose it within the program and you can convert them to lineart)
I love drawing tons of different species, I never can just pick one haha, I even have 10 fursonas, should really tell you how much I can't pick just one hahaha I like the challenges of converting an animal species into my style c: so that's why I have a variety of characters ranging from felines, canines, cervines, bovines, avian, aquatic, reptiles, amphibians (some I haven't explored yet, but they are for sure on my to-do list!)
Only thing I avoid are well, primates, because it just feels like it's a human if I make them into a "furry" haha but that depends on species really, I haven't thought too much about it, but I mean, I also do draw human characters on occasion hah (though in anime style, but yeh, still human)

I have heard of star fox but I can't say that I have any favorites as I haven't played the games, only the gamecube game with the blue fox lady and dinosaurs, but that's been ages ago and I don't remember them that well, I was merely a kid back then so yeah haha why do you ask?
I'd suggest looking up the causes on google or go to customer service, I can't help you with technical issues ah, sorry...
