Hyperion often frequents places where other machines come to die. The junkyard, the scrapyard, the landfill. Why? So it can get dibs on all the other machine parts, of course! Hyperion loves to upgrade itself, and isn't exactly allowed in many legitimate places, for fear of theft and what have you. And so nothing goes to waste, thanks to this crafty machine!
