In a forgotten corner of the world lies a swamp, old and strangely corrupted... For it is no ordinary bog, for within lies a great beast. This place is the epicenter of decay and death, thriving on the slow rot of all the flora and fauna that live there. More a mud pit than a swamp, the land is eternally half-submerged in an impossibly deep layer of slime and muck, of semiliquid decay, ensnaring those foolish enough to come unprepared.

The cause of this corruption is none but one being: Fex.

Enormous, monstrous and ancient, the grand slugbeast, Fex, calls this land his home. It feeds deep on the fauna of the land, growing fat on the rotten remains of whoever it submerges beneath the sludge. However, Fex, above all things, holds the outside world with curiosity...
