This one's a young manticore named Kalil. Unlike most others of his species, he does not like to eat, or even hurt human beings. He much prefers to guide them through the jungle he lives in. Those spikes at the end of his tail can detach and shoot at far-away targets, as can the quills on his back. He doesn't like to shoot them, however, because it leaves him pretty vulnerable.

In actuality, I should have had this done a long time ago, but I had no inspiration to color it. Why? I don't know. The background, maybe? Whatever, it's done now. I like this guy a lot, so I've been sketching him on the side.
