Most of my chiptune work consists of cover songs, and I have one irregular series called "8-Bit Hymnal". I present to you the newest entry in that series, The Old Rugged Cross, originally written by George Bennard in 1913:

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,

The emblem of suff’ring and shame;

And I love that old cross where the dearest and best

For a world of lost sinners was slain.
