Near our cottage in New Buffalo, there's this old house at the end of the road that overlooks Lake Michigan. We all thought the house was abandoned based on its condition, so we walked into the yard to get a great lookout over the lake. I took several pictures there, and this was one of them. Usually I'm not one for pictures of flowers, but this one caught my eye.

When I say that we thought that the house was abandoned, we didn't know until later in the weekend when the fence in front of the house was chained shut. Oops.
