So I wanted to work on painting landscapes, but I also wanted to focus on Hyu's parents as well so I decided to do two landscape paintings illustrating were Hyu's parents live.

First up is Hyu's mother's house, which is a little sketchy for the conceptual painting itself, but for the story line Annabelle left Xelrôth after Hyu's birth because Xelrôth steadily became more abusive and traitorous in their relationship.

Annabelle had this house built 2 years after her marriage and it's also very sparsely situated from the nearest town which is a 20 mile journey (down river fortunately) because Xelrôth has trust issues even though he has 3 other wives, not including girlfriends.

In the middle earth setting Hyu spent all of his childhood living in this location pretty much taught by his mother and kept himself entertained by hiking and small scale exploring, always wishing to have Xelrôth be a true father figure in his life. On occasional visits Xelrôth would drop by only to deliver money or special supplies sometimes in exchange for Annabelle's home made elixirs and potions. Hyu also meets Ellexiónnasen in this area and who becomes his first actual friend.
