This is some concept art for another character of mine, Troy.

Troy is a spirit dragon that hails from a small village, his kind are akin to the spiritual dragons that watch over certain areas or territories, that was until his village was attacked and enslaved by the demon Zeleme.

Despite the hardships, Troy remained defiant against the demon lord, fighting him whenever he could but because of this he suffered greatly, being treated as the demon's 'play thing', helplessly tortured by all manor of demons for the simple fun of it.
The greatest injury was that Troy was betrayed by his twin brother Argon; who was loyal to Zeleme since their capture, and he faced a horrible punishment; Zeleme managed to draw out a piece of his soul causing the dragon to age; the piece was given to his brother to be used as a life force for healing, stealing away Troy's own life.
Troy does manage to escape and even reclaim the lost piece of his soul, returning him to his proper age.

The collar on Troy's neck is the only sign of his slave status, the cuffs on his arms and legs are actually a part of his people's culture: children earn these solid metal bands as a rite of passage and they grow into the bands, tradition long help by the spirit dragons.
