The "Thunder Struck" is a Thunder Mortar Vehicle with a larger Gatling Mortar Cannon, advanced comms array, upgraded ram, Vulcan cannon and armour plating.

In battle with the MR, the "Thunder Struck" was faced with an option, break though the defensive line of barricades to let the rest of the forces in, possibly resulting in heavy losses, or attack with it's mortar gatling cannon. Choosing the latter, the "Thunder Struck" attacked the MR forces behind the barricades and wreaked at least 6 units and destroyed 4 units, weakening them enough for DE forces to advance with light resistance.
