I use SAI, actually, though I've been trying (and spectacularly failing) to learn Photoshop for a while, now. Most of what I do is with the brush tool, with or without textures applied, with the pen tool for more minute detailing.
(Also, goodness, thank you. <3)

aaaah photoshop is a bit hard I think, I prefer sai (well clip studio now because my sai dead T-T) because the color mix system in awesome :D
