I'm going to try and get into practice of drawing something everyday, even if it's just a tiny doodle!

And today is an idea I've had for a while, a wierd siamese cat species in Tales of Herstia. Thanks to this post on Tumblr reminding me of it, I decided I wanted to draw it out.
These felines actually live in Artarus, east of Herstia, and are incredibly few in number. They live in crypt-like palaces and command areas as rulers, much to the disdain of the Hound lords. However, despite being much smaller than Hounds, these mysterious queens seem to be left alone by the hordes, entirely out of raw fear. Although no-one is sure, rumour has it that these creatures are not born and simply raise from the sands, and then collapse back into it at the end of their lives, leaving behind a palace full of slaves and riches. Although the bandages adorning these creatures seem blank, they are actually inscribed with black magic runes and for that reason are capable of wielding immense physical and magical power and plenty are the tales of cat queens murdering those that would oppose them for sport. However, it would seem that they only play with their prey if they deem them powerful enough to. Slaves and small creatures voicing resistance tickles them and they happily humour and accomodate them. However, common knowledge is that when the cat queens are purring and laid out they are content, lazy and indulgent, and when they finally rise to their feet all should fear.

I'll likely try to expand on this idea later on, but there we go! I had fun drawing an animal that wasn't a horse for a change :b
