Yes these are real fur.
The top is a coyote pelt I bought from Coyotestar on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Coyotestar
I follow them on tumblr and nabbed it as soon as they posted about the pelt, it's so absolutely gorgeous.
The fox is so wonderfully gorgeous and soft and the color is amazing.
Amazing, amazing pelts I'm so honored I own them.
(I also have a skunk pelt, some sables and minks and muskrat but I need to get some better pictures of them)

Hey great to hear from you! He is a gorgeous one indeed. He has been keeping me company and making friends - each time my little nieces and nephews come over they ask to see him (and they know to be gentle, too). I'm really glad I had the opportunity to get him. And you did a great job with his face/ears, both my parents and family friends have commented on how realistic he looks. :)
He really must've been a great sight alive, indeed

oh hey, I wondered what happened to that coyote (I'm coyotestar/coyotequeen)
He has such a beautiful back, its a shame whoever had him before me didn't take care of the pelt well. I'm sure he was a stunning sight when he was alive
