Decided to revisit the sylveon I drew awhile back. The original drawing was done before the release of Pokemon X and Y, and the only reference anybody had to work from was a photograph of a magazine article. I sorely misjudged the coloration and made sylveon a lot darker and more saturated than it should have been.

The drawing itself wasn’t that great either. There was a lot of sloppiness… I was probably going for “zomg topical” points. This revised version has a more faithful color scheme and a few subtle alterations– some shapes smoothed out, less jaggedness and coloring outside the lines, etc. Still not exactly a home run, but good enough to leave it be for now.

Dunno if I’ll apply the same revisions to the jolteon palette swap I made later. I think that one aged a little better.
