I'm not the most romantically-minded individual, so I don't often think to make pairings for my original characters. But awhile back, I considered giving my weasel a squirrelfriend.

More recently, I was thinking that a skunk might be a better fit. In honor of Valentine's Day, I decided last night to actually design said skunk, but after a few doodles I don't really think I'm much closer to a final look... the appearance in my imagination just didn't seem to want to transfer to reality.

Anyway, here are some skunk doodles from the brainstorming process. The colored one is a little newer and closer to what I was going for.
