Another old TF sequence, with at least slightly more work put into it than the Dragon Chambers one. This has a crappy story to go along with it too, so I guess I'll post that, eh?

The Golem's Coast is known for its eccentric population of wizards and sorcerers. More than most practitioners of the magical arts, they are known for delving into darker magics. Of course, if you asked any Coastal Wizard he'd deny it. They fancy themselves scholars, you see, the kind of people who would peel back the layers of reality because they're intrigued, rather than for any truly nefarious purposes.

Young Arebus was one such wizard, an eager but inexperienced mage who spent his time looking endlessly for ways to distinguish himself from his peers. He had tried conjuring demons, but couldn't get a rise out of anything more threatening than an imp. He mixed potions to induce love and strength that never caused much more than a slight buzz and drowsiness. It wasn't until he got his hands on the grimoire of Cylas Barker, the famous magician turned aethernaut, that he found something that could make him truly great.

The cosmic egg.

Deep within the oily blackness of the Eldritch realms were said to be magnificent eggs that contained great power. A wizard who could acquire one would see their true potentials unlocked fully, and allow them to expand their horizons to delve into the worlds hidden within worlds that few could see. Arebus had to have it, and the Grimoire outlined a spell for reaching into the great beyond.

Perhaps if he had paid attention to the warnings written in blood around the incantation he would've avoided what was to come. Perhaps if Arebus had studied the nature of the Eldritch realm, he could have prepared himself

for the results of the spell. For you see, while Arebus was no stranger to the art of summoning, he had no idea of how unpredictable the manifestations of Eldritch Abominations could be. So he cast the spell.
