A painting I recently did based off of some sketches that I had scanned up quite recently, that seems to have this… “retro” look? I can’t really articulate it.

the gear in the sand and the pyramid in the back would not have been possible without Photoshop’s shape tool.

neither would the lettering for that matter (though technically I drew it with a Path tool)

roxypop told me this place looked “cool (as in kinda chilly)”.

Well, that might be because of my tendency to use dark cerulean/blue shades for shading, or because that pyramid in the background looks like it might be made of ice,

coupled with the fact that due to living 99% of my life exclusively in flaming hot HELLZONES I have a sort of bias in favor of relatively cooler settings slightly
