HOSHIMARU JOINS THE PARTY (critique requested)

Hedgehodge

On 23rd October 2014 I had a dream about a really weird retro RPG thing
I dreamed about playing a 8 bit NES RPG vaguely akin to one of the Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy games. Apparently the game was divided into a real world and a dream world and in the latter you could solve puzzles by platform elements and shrinking and expanding your size.

The main character was a warrior in blue armor and a horned helmet like the protagonist of the first Dragon Quest game.

Your party members included
-A purple armored horned scorpion taur princess,
-A tiger warrior lady in green armor and dual blades,
-A white mage lady with glasses who wore something halfway between a shrine maiden's garb and a real doctor's outfit who was apparently named Aoshi(?),
-And then later in the game she leaves for some reason, you recruit her younger, identical male cousin (apparently named Aoji?? or something very similar sounding) who appears to be wearing a more modern looking doctor outfit. Also he’s apparently incredibly jealous of her talent, though functionally game-wise he’s just as good as she is as healing.
-There’s also a master swordsman with a big head,

and a secret character who is really hard to get:

basically in the course of your quest you found a dark tower full of terrifying monsters. In the top floor you met a man with a crescent moon for a head. He says he is one of the "Celestials"- a race of space-themed people who were often object heads with like star or moon or sun or planet shaped heads. And he claimed the rest of the Celestials are in a deep sleep in the tower and he's guarding them.

you eventually discover he actually has a BANANA for a head and he's actually a faker who cursed the celestials into a deep sleep and locked them in the tower. Beating him up causes the curse to be lifted and the dark tower slowly lights up with glowing pastel colored planet and star stickers on the walls and you wake up the Celestials...

then you make your way to a secret bedroom that's out of the way and you wake up the last Celestial, a little star guy with a tophat named Hoshimaru (or "Harro JR."). He cannot talk, instead he uses telepathy (represented by rainbow text on a black bg as opposed to standard white text for normal dialogue), and he is one of the strongest mages you can recruit in the game-

Why? because he can't talk, he's also immune to the MUTE and LOUD status effects. MUTE is i believe a standard status effect for the time but LOUD was something my dream invented- presumably it's the opposite and sends spells out of control. You have to answer his dialog a certain way in order to get him to join you.

I read the wiki article for the RPG and a lot of the enemies match up to Dragon Quest monsters. The exceptions are a “fire skeleton” and a “Rifle golem” who looks like the dragon quest golems except he was black, carried a riot shield and gun, and had a single purple eye.
